Key Responsibilities

HBS is seeking a Refrigeration Mechanic to join its Kanata, ON Service team.
This position requires travel within Ottawa, and surrounding area.
Conduct preventative maintenance functions and troubleshooting of machinery to reduce downtime and maximize efficiencies.
Operate and maintain all mechanical room and other equipment including chiller refrigeration, boilers, pumps, compressors, condensers, and HVAC systems.
Troubleshoot PLC and electrical problems and make changes as needed.
Be the face of Honeywell to the customer and interact directly with end-users
Learn end-to-end delivery of Honeywell solutions
YOU MUST HAVE

High School Diploma, or GED
3-5 years of experience as a Journeyman
G-1 license or G-2 with necessary provisions to attain G-1
Must have Ontario G Drivers license
Must be able to obtain customer required security clearance and Controlled Goods Program
A member of Local UA 787or willing to join Union
Must be able to take part in On call rotation
Occasionally must be able to work after hours or weekends
Immunization (including COVID-19 vaccination) as required by the customer and in accordance with the Public Health Act

Ontario Oil License is good to have
