Expertise the implementation of material purchasing, material planning, production planning, inventory control, shipping/receiving and stores functions within Honeywell. You will engage in the execution and follow up with policies, procedures and material control systems. You will identify and solve problems in and out of immediate work area independently and ensure materials are ordered and in stock to meet company requirements, while maintaining acceptable inventory levels. You are expected to lead project teams within the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Candidate must have strong communication skills and advanced excel skills.
- Expedite requests from Business Teams
- Raise Cases / working with Customer Service / Customer Business focal to remove sales order blocks
- Handling Business Teams/Program Managers Inquiries/Escalations
- Past Due Recoveries – weekly meetings with program managers
- Line of business for high visibility parts
- Follow up on first articles with Supplier and Engineers
- Lead Priority Allocation discussions with business teams
- Accelerations with ship ahead days
The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Advanced excel skills
- Diploma in Material Management/Supply Chain or related field
- 2+ years of Material Management experience
WE VALUE
- Knowledge of manufacturing planning processes is desired
- Working knowledge of SAP
- Bachelor’s degree in Material Management or Supply chain
- APICS certified is a strong asset
- Knowledge in lean, six sigma tools and problem-solving methodology
- Knowledge in Project Management
- Mentor junior members
- Strong experience in Materials management
