Job Description:
Our public accounting client, a small firm located in Mississauga, is looking for an Assistant Manager / CPA.

This position includes working in all areas of public accounting including compilation engagements, corporate and personal tax filings and reviewing and managing work of junior staff.

A small boutique firm, the range of work includes completion on all aspects of files including tax.

This may be challenging for some, but for the right person it opens doors to personal and professional growth and a rewarding career.

Key Responsibilities:
– Managing many relationships both internally with staff and externally with clients.
– Managing, preparing, and reviewing various compilation engagement files including corporate and personal tax planning and preparation.
– Strong interpersonal skills for developing and maintaining effective working relationships both internally and externally.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Team player.
– Attention to detail.
– Results driven, has a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.
– Knowledge of Caseware, Taxprep, Quickbooks

– Minimum 3 years as CPA
